- Close any instance of Access 97
- Extract the zipfile to a temporary folder
- Copy the add-in file (*.mde) from that temporary folder into the Access\Office 97 folder
- Open an .mdb in Access 97
- From the Menubar, select: Tools > Add-Ins > Add-In Manager
- In the Add-In Manager Dialog, click 'Add new'. Make sure that the filetype you are looking for is 'mde' (as it defaults to 'Add-ins')
- Select the specified.mde file and click 'Open'
- The add-in will now be displayed under the Add-Ins submenu
- To uninstall the add-in, select it in the Add-in Manager Dialog and click 'Uninstall'.
